Our Raw Indian Hair is designed to provide beautiful, long-lasting wear when properly maintained. Because raw hair is minimally processed, each bundle may have its own natural characteristics.

Before Installation

Inspect your bundles and closure thoroughly before altering or installing the hair.

We recommend gently washing and conditioning your hair before installation using moisturizing, sulfate-free hair-care products.

Do not cut bundle wefts or lace until you have inspected the hair and confirmed that you are satisfied with your order.

Washing

  • Gently detangle the hair before washing, working from the ends upward.
  • Use lukewarm water.
  • Use a moisturizing or sulfate-free shampoo.
  • Follow with a hydrating conditioner.
  • Avoid aggressively rubbing, twisting, or bunching the hair while washing.
  • Rinse thoroughly.

Conditioning

Condition regularly to help maintain softness, shine, and manageability.

For additional moisture, allow conditioner to sit on the hair for several minutes before thoroughly rinsing.

Avoid applying excessive products that may cause buildup.

Drying

Air drying is recommended whenever possible.

Gently blot excess water with a towel rather than rubbing the hair.

Allow the hair to dry completely before styling or storing.

Heat Styling

Raw Indian Hair can be heat styled.

Always use a heat protectant before applying heat and use low to moderate heat whenever possible.

Excessive or repeated high heat may cause dryness or alter the hair’s natural wave pattern over time.

Detangling

Use your fingers, a wide-tooth comb, or an appropriate detangling brush.

Begin at the ends and gently work upward toward the wefts.

Avoid pulling or brushing aggressively.

Sleeping

We recommend wrapping or braiding your hair before bed and protecting it with a satin or silk scarf or bonnet.

Avoid sleeping with wet or damp hair.

Swimming

Before swimming, secure the hair and minimize prolonged exposure to chlorine or salt water when possible.

Wash and condition the hair after swimming to remove chlorine, salt, and other residue.

Coloring & Bleaching

Raw hair can generally be colored; however, chemical processing can change the condition, texture, or longevity of the hair.

We recommend having coloring or bleaching performed by a licensed or experienced professional.

Shedding & Tangling

Some shedding is normal with human hair, particularly during washing, detangling, or styling.

Proper installation, gentle detangling, regular conditioning, and appropriate product use can help minimize excessive shedding and tangling.
